RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and Manage Team: Supervise plant employees on assigned shifts or departments, including coaching, mentoring, managing performance, handling disciplinary actions, overseeing hiring and termination processes, and providing training.
  • Participate in Audits and Trials: Engage in customer audits, ISO audits, customer trials, and investigate complaints.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that customer quality expectations are consistently met.
  • Coordinate Maintenance: Organize shift maintenance activities, audit equipment checklists, and manage work order scheduling.
  • Process Oversight: Manage and oversee RTP production processes within designated areas.
  • Customer and Operational Focus: Prioritize customer service, operational excellence, product consistency, cost efficiency, and asset optimization while ensuring safe operations.
  • Team Leadership: Directly supervise Production Leads and Assistant Leads, responsible for guiding, training, and evaluating all members of the production team.
  • Schedule Downtime: Plan and schedule line downtime for proactive maintenance
  • Optimize Production: Assess production needs and ensure that processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet operational standards.
  • Enhance Safety and Environmental Compliance: Support plant safety and environmental initiatives by leading meetings, setting clear expectations, and investigating incidents.
  • Monitor Operations: Track production rates, manage changeovers, and oversee line cleaning procedures.
  • Resolve Issues: Identify and address process-related problems, implementing effective solutions.
  • Update Procedures: Develop and update operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong technical expertise.
  • Mechanical aptitude with prior experience in a manufacturing setting required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Cimpro system.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining plant and employee safety.
  • Proven ability to build cohesive teams, foster accountability, and lead by example.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
