RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee training for new employees
- Coordinate efforts with plant manager
- Ensure work environment adheres to safety regulations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot and correct quality issues
- Implement initiatives to minimize downtime
- Implement improvements to increase efficiency
- Ensure production deadlines are met
- Crosstrain workforce
- Assign personnel/delegate tasks and schedule workload
- Facilitate employee performance evaluations
- Improve productivity by implementing cost effective measures
- Create production summary after shift
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required
- Ideal Production Supervisor will have minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience within production facility
- Must have supervisory experience
- Understanding of cGMP
- Experience within metals industry desired
- Willing to take a drug screen and background check
