Key Responsibilities:
- The Production Supervisor will supervise and support shop floor employees, ensuring adherence to performance and safety standards.
- Operate peening equipment as needed and promote safety compliance.
- Plan work schedules, monitor quality and production standards, and ensure process efficiency.
- The Production Supervisor will provide coaching, employee development, and conduct performance reviews.
- Interpret job specifications, blueprints, and policies to staff.
- Coordinate training and onboarding for new employees.
- Manage employee attendance and time-off requests.
- Prepare and submit reports on KPIs and operational activities.
- The Production Supervisor will participate in hiring, training, and troubleshooting with engineers and managers.
- Oversee incoming inspection and report defects to the Quality Manager.
- Utilize ERP system for production tracking, inventory control, and work order management.
- Engage with customers to discuss deadlines and requirements.
- The Production Supervisor will recommend improvements in work methods, equipment, and cost reduction strategies.
- Ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- The Production Supervisor must hold a Degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or Business
- Must have 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership or supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of ISO, LEAN, and basic machining equipment (lathe, milling, CNC, etc.).
- The Production Supervisor must have experience with troubleshooting and welding
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and shop math.
