RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains production equipment meeting organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
- Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to standard.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists employees in solving work problems.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams.
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel.
- Place production orders from customers.
- Planning and organizing production schedules.
- Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Determining quality control standards and overseeing production processes.
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing and production experience.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, and OSHA certifications and training preferred.
- Ability to read and utilize mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn in house systems.
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills and outstanding communication ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent English, and Spanish a plus.
