RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to plan and assign work to safely meet quality, production, and delivery goals.
- Must be able to coordinate manufacturing activities with the Materials Department to ensure production of quality products.
- Must ensure compliance with all company policies and practices.
- Must recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, quality and operating procedures.
- Must be able to hire and train production employees.
- Must demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees or assign experienced employees to train workers.
- Must inspect finished goods for uniformity and compliance with specifications.
- Must maintain records and logs maintained in Plex.
- Must perform employee evaluations as scheduled while providing constructive feedback on an ongoing basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience within a Manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor.
- Lean Black Belt/Six Sigma black belt preferred.
