RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as mentor for shop personnel, answering any questions and providing hands on training
- Motivate team towards efficient and effective output
- Maintain a safe shop environment
- Provide demonstrations to team when needed
- Perform repairs on injection molding equipment
- Oversee the maintenance of injection molding equipment
- Investigate non-conformances and resolve issues
- Maintain work log/checklist
- Work with engineering grade materials
- Engage in root cause analysis
- Troubleshoot injection molding equipment
- Maintain optimal functionality of shop equipment
- Adhere to all company safety regulations
- Implement lean techniques to increase efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ideal Production Team Leader will have minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must have experience repairing injection molding equipment
- Team leader experience desired
- Experience within a machine shop desired
- Must have manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with automation systems
- Familiarity with material drying, color blending, etc.
- Hands on experience with engineering grade resources
- Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Willing to take a drug-screen/undergo a background check
