RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the coordination of regional Project Managers and Coordinators to ensure proper project setup, focusing on materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment in alignment with bids, estimates, budgets, and project changes/requirements.
- Provide administrative oversight for all regional projects, focusing on cost flow, accuracy, and timely management of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
- Collaborate actively with operational and other functional teams to meet project, regional, and corporate goals and objectives.
- Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate reporting of Regional Work In Progress (WIP) on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Lead and facilitate weekly and monthly project reviews to track progress, identify key concerns regarding timelines, delays, discrepancies in materials/labor/equipment/subcontractors, and changes to the scope of work.
- Work closely with regional teams, Accounting, and Finance to identify and resolve operational challenges, improve systems, maintain database integrity, ensure process compliance, and optimize reporting.
- Partner with Operations to enhance Cash Management and collections, focusing on prompt invoicing and submittals. Ensure compliance with procurement processes, including PO usage, credit card reconciliation, and timing.
- Take ownership of driving best practices for Under and Over billing, adhering to Customer, Contractual, and Regulatory requirements.
- Generate, analyze, and report on weekly and monthly KPIs. Review progress with regional teams and develop action plans to achieve or surpass these KPIs.
- Prior experience in supervising within a construction-related company.
- Experience leading regional project coordination and oversight in a construction environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in Project Management or Cost Accounting, ideally within highway, traffic signal, or ITS construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently for extended periods, whether in the office or remotely.
- Experience with Revenue Recognition and Earned Revenue.
- Required prior experience with ERP systems, preferably Viewpoint Spectrum.
- Familiarity with bidding software, such as HeavyBid, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities, both internally and externally.
