RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must Negotiate or renegotiate and administer contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Review specifications to determine the disciplines of work required
- Evaluate order and bid documentation
- Evaluate vendors to ensure their performance is aligned with established specifications.
- Review and maintain good records of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contract management activities.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of previous experience in a purchasing related field is preferred.
- Heavy Civil Construction experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
- Able to analyze information and utilize time management
