RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Purchasing-Inventory Manager reports to CFO
- Must be responsible for all negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, discounts, freight, etc.
- Must assist in purchasing strategies, developing and maintaining rapport with suppliers and vendors.
- Must partner with Sales and Product Management team.
- The Purchasing-Inventory Manager must review and manage scheduled stock rotations.
- Ensure stocking levels on a constant basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Purchasing-Inventory Manager must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Materials Management
- Must have extensive experience in supply chain to manage all purchasing activities and vendor negotiations.
- Must have 5 years’ experience in Purchasing and Materials Management
- Must have strong negotiation skills, inventory planning, and 2 years of leadership experience.
- Must be proficient in computers and Excel.
- The Purchasing-Inventory Manager must be willing to work onsite, flexible in schedule and willing to travel, as needed.
