Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Establish material and equipment budget
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
- Overall Supplier performance
- Key market impacts on supply
- Inventory
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
- Develop precise hard cost budgets.
- Collaborate with regional and national teams to revise estimates and budgets as necessary.
- Lead price negotiations with division-specific partners.
- Oversee capacity planning for divisional preferred partners and assist with national and regional capacity planning.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage the divisional Purchasing team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with division-specific trade partners.
- Phase out underperforming trade partners.
- Keep the Regional Director of Purchasing and Division President updated on critical market conditions, capacity, and forecasts.
- BA/BS (business related area preferred)
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of purchasing and material planning.
- Excellent negotiating, analytical and communication skills, both verbal & written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities and short deadlines
- Must be able to work independently and also in a hard-working, supportive team.
