RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze costs and prepare estimates
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors
- Maintain strong relationships with client’s
- Work alongside project managers
- Collect and analyze data by gathering proposals
- Read and interpret blueprints other technical documents
- Prepare cost estimates for all stages of design from schematics, blueprint and pricing
- Maintain understanding of project requirements
- Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics
- Required to visit job sites to perform estimates
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ideal Purchasing Manager/Chief Estimator will have minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience within a construction operation desired
- Experience with purchasing for construction projects
- Willing to undergo drug screen and background check
