Responsibilities:
- Oversee Inventory Management
- Oversee the planning and management of product flow
- Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
- Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates
- Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc
- Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
- Casting of overall material needed for production
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or technical field
- 2 years’ of materials / supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing industry
- Drive Continuous Improvement
- Inventory Management
- Develops and implements purchasing strategies
- Reviews and processes purchase orders
- Negotiating contracts and prices
- Develops a purchasing strategy
- Supply Chain
- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
- Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
