Responsibilities:
- Developing forecasting for items to drive purchasing operations
- Process internal and external material transfers to support production needs.
- Entering orders and updating orders through a MRP system internally
- Handle negotiations pertaining to contract pricing and supply agreements with 3rd party vendors
- Up to date with community trends that involves lumber
- Will source new parts that is required by the Technical Department or other internal customers
- Dealing with cycle count responsibilities
Requirements:
- 5 years of Purchasing Management experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Purchasing raw materials at a reasonable price to help support stock levels and production schedules
- The ability to come in office on a hybrid schedule
- Local Candidates ONLY
- Highly skilled in negotiations and making timely decisions
- Proficient in using MRP software
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
