RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conduct quality checks on all parts and product counts to ensure the correct number of materials received.
- Document data and enter it into QC 2000 system.
- The Quality Control Inspector will perform First Article Inspections.
- Perform in-process inspections, final inspections, and other inspections as required.
- The Quality Control Inspector will interpret and use mechanical drawings as required.
- Check for defects on parts and report them to management in a timely manner.
- Other duties assigned by management when needed.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or related.
- Knowledge of using metrology equipment and their uses such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges and optical comparators.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Have basic mathematical skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
