RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Quality Supervisor must manage, lead, and develop a team of 15-20 quality inspectors across three shifts
- Must be responsible for the performance of the QC inspectors for effective inspections - preventing escapes and productivity.
- Must schedule, assign, coach, train, and evaluate the QC inspectors.
- Must represent Quality Control and report QC Inspection performance at daily management meetings.
- Responsible for maintaining and administering the Certified Operator Program as an extension of the QC Inspection team.
- Must be responsible for the appointment, training, and oversight of the DSQRs (Designated Supplier Quality Representatives).
- The Quality Supervisor must be responsible for the compilation of the certification packages required for product release and review of first article inspection reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality position preferably with an Aerospace manufacturing environment
- Must have hands on Metrology Skills, Read/Understand Drawings and Blueprints, GD&T
- Experience with AS9100 and NADCAP standards is strongly preferred.
- The Quality Supervisor must have experience with first article inspection per the AS9102 standard.
- Experience with the 8D problem solving method and quality improvement tools such as PFMEAs strongly preferred.
- Must oversee associates across 3 shifts
- Must be a local candidate willing to work on-site
- Must be flexible in shifts and schedule
- MUST be fully vaccinated
