RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must ensure compliance to Regulatory, Customer, and Kleen Test Products quality systems requirements.
- Assist the Quality Systems Manager in the direction of all activities of Quality Department personnel.
- Make disposition of all raw materials, components and finished products as directed by the Quality Systems Manager.
- Must assist the Quality Systems Manager to manage and coordinate the investigation of Out of Specification results for analytical and microbiological tests.
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must develop and maintain Master Product Records for all products manufactured at the facility.
- Must communicate to production management the status of the quality system.
- Develop, update, and implement new and existing policies and procedures.
- Create visual aids and gauges to assist in managing quality at the source.
- Assist with any Process validations, where necessary.
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must conduct routine audits of department results and records to ensure regulatory, customer and company policies and procedures.
- Create inspection plans where necessary.
- Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
- Take part in special projects under the direction of the Vice President of Quality and Director of Quality Assurance.
- Maintain policies and procedures of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must hold a Diploma/Associate’s degree. Bachelors preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control from a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Must have strong project management skills.
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must use mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be proficient in computers.
- Must be a LOCAL CANDIDATE to be considered for the position.
- The Quality Systems Supervisor must be willing to work in the 3rd shift.
