Responsibilities:
- The Regional Reliability Engineer oversees the development, design, and improvements of equipment between two locations
- Will work with maintenance technicians and production operators to ensure mechanical availability is increased
- Follows safety procedures and leads/participates in safety programs, including 5S, Near miss reporting, Gemba, Job observation, and risk assessment
- Provides support daily for mechanical, technical, and general engineering
- Oversees continuous improvement programs and monitors mechanical downtime
- Assists with capital improvement projects for new assets and replacements when needed
- Ensures the mechanical design follows safety guidelines.
- Assist in estimating, bidding, speaking with vendors, requisitioning, delivery, project schedule, designing layout plans and oversees installation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience in a chemical or industrial environment
- Must have 5+ years of management experience
- Must have experience as a Reliability Engineer
- Understands, repairable parts, equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and OSHA safety regulations
- Working knowledge on applicable standards (RAGAGEP) and root cause failure analysis
- Oracle and Power BI experience preferred
