RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on the severity of the patient's condition.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patients' responses to treatment with a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide prompt, compassionate care to patients, offering support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous education to enhance nursing knowledge and skills, particularly in areas relevant to emergency nursing.
- Follow established guidelines and protocols to ensure patient safety and high-quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current RN license in New York or eligibility for licensure.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and emotional resilience to work in a demanding and often stressful environment.
