Responsibilities:
- The Reliability Engineer will focus on improving plant operations by analyzing reliability, productivity, and downtime reports to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Lead vibration analysis predictive maintenance program, including alignment and equipment balancing.
- Provide input for the plant capital budget and manage improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring they stay within budget.
- The Reliability Engineer will collaborate with all operating groups and the Maintenance Department, addressing repetitive problems and high-cost areas.
- Support the Maintenance Department by providing corrective actions and identifying cost-saving opportunities through equipment performance data.
- Assist in creating the annual maintenance budget.
- The Reliability Engineer may act in a supervisory role and be on call for mechanical problems.
- Serve as a role model in leadership, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, aligning with company vision.
Qualifications:
- The Reliability Engineer must hold a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Must have 3+ years in an industrial cement manufacturing industry
- Expertise in Predictive and Preventative Maintenance with a strong focus on reliability improvement.
- The Reliability Engineer must be proficient in computer applications; CAD experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of personnel.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, noisy, and hazardous environment.
- Willingness to travel to other plant facilities as needed.
- Must be able to work without a visa sponsorship.
