RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Sales Engineer will maintain current and develop new relationships with commercial customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Offer application guidance and technical assistance to establish new business and maintain existing business with customers’ engineering personnel.
- Update and maintain records in CRM for all assigned territory accounts with complete notes.
- Perform technical presentations and quotes as needed.
- Participate in conferences, trade shows and internal sales meetings.
- Research and investigate new opportunities in targeted markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree In Mechatronics Electrical or Mechanical Engineering,
- The Sales Engineer will have 3-5 years of application engineering, sales or related experience that emphasizes motion control.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% with possible overnights in territory.
- Knowledge of CRM including forecasting, quotes, and opportunities.
- Knowledge of ERP software sales functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of selection of bearings, motors, and gearing along with sizing calculations.
