- Materials Planning, Purchasing and Inventory Management
- Negotiate prices
- Supplier relationship management
- Purchase planned raw material requirements
- Experience with MRP/ERP system
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing industry
Job Responsibilities:
- Make cost reduction recommendations
- Develop new raw material sources
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Utilize MRP systems to plan and manage materials for manufacturing processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize procurement processes.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, and Oracle EBS for efficient purchasing and inventory management.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Budget/Cost Control
- Secure and analyze quotations
- Negotiate prices
- Purchase planned raw material requirements
- Purchasing experience
- Experience with MRP/ERP system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute purchasing strategies within budget constraints.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
