RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods across the facility.
- Lead, manage, and execute capital projects from concept to completion ensuring they meet budget, scope, and timeline requirements.
- Direct and oversee a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring proper training and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and systems to identify needs for upgrades or repairs.
- Manage the annual maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness in all operations.
- Collaborate with various department heads to coordinate maintenance and project activities that support overall operational goals.
- Prepare detailed reports on the status of projects and maintenance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, health, and environmental.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and other external parties.
- Utilize maintenance management systems to monitor work orders, track maintenance activities, and optimize workflow.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food Processing, including Thermal Processes and/or sanitation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, Plant engineering and/or capital project execution, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, overseeing large-scale projects, and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, delegation, and time management.
- Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification in project management (PMP) or a similar credential is highly desirable.
