As a Senior Production Planner, you'll optimize production schedules to enhance customer service, minimize costs, and manage inventory. This role requires strong manufacturing knowledge, data analysis skills, and effective communication for cross-functional collaboration. You'll analyze sales orders and forecast demand to efficiently schedule batch operations. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement, you will work closely with the plant manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Production Planner must ensure schedules meet customer needs and maximize fill rates.
- Minimize downtime, scrap, and schedule changes.
- Optimize lead times and inventory usage.
- Define and analyze near-term and long-term capacity requirements.
- The Senior Production Planner must communicate raw material needs to Procurement.
- Provide clear production plans for optimal staffing.
- Address site issues in planning.
- The Senior Production Planner must act as the ERP expert for supply planning.
- Maintain effective communication and manage order requests promptly.
- Ensure reliable delivery timelines and communicate any changes.
- The Senior Production Planner must contribute to cross-site production optimization and inter-site delivery coordination.
- Participate in capacity planning to address Linden's needs.
- Occasional travel (5%-10%) may be required.
Qualifications:
- The Senior Production Planner must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain.
- Must have 3+ years in planning within a high-change batch-making environment, from a food and beverage industry.
- The Senior Production Planner must be proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical skills for scheduling and capacity assessment.
- Must be thorough in Process Optimization, quality standard checks etc.
