RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to work with Quality Engineering to ensure that all set-ups and programs are accurate.
- Must create CMM programs using part drawings or models.
- Must be able to train and resolve issues and questions from the machine operators, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers as needed.
- Must be able to identify and drives cost reduction projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing principle.
- Must work closely with closely with the team to determine efficiency improvements.
- Must work with Quality Engineers on special projects related to tooling fixtures and gages.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and/or amend existing CMM programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 6+ years of experience as a Quality Control Technician within a Manufacturing environment.
- Must have 4+ years of experience with advanced Vision System programming.
- Must have 4+ years of experience with advanced CMM programming.
- Must have 4+ years of experience with inspection equipment.
- Must be willing to travel if needed, usually less than 5% of the time.
