Summary:
The Senior Quality Manager leads company-wide quality and product compliance programs to ensure the production of safe, high-quality, and compliant products. This role drives continuous improvement, ensures regulatory and customer standards are met, and supports plant-level quality operations across multiple sites.
Reports To: Director of Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Quality Manager will develop and implement corporate quality and compliance programs
- Oversee food safety and code compliance across all facilities
- Set and track quality performance goals; analyze trends and lead improvement initiatives
- The Senior Quality Manager will lead root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain and update quality system documentation and manage customer complaint resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Innovation)
- Support supplier qualification and audit processes
- The Senior Quality Manager will mentor site Quality Managers and support SQF readiness
- Ensure calibration and proper use of lab testing equipment
- Represent the company in quality and regulatory matters
Qualifications:
- The Senior Quality Manager must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- ASQ certification
- Must have 5+ years in quality leadership within the food packaging manufacturing industry.
- The Senior Quality Manager must have experience with SQF, root cause analysis, and quality systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab)

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The Senior Quality Manager must have the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
