RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises employees and ensures incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure exactness, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Ensures that vehicles meet the weight limit or do not go over the weight
- Ensures that continuous preventive maintenance is done on equipmentÂ
- Makes sure shipments go to the correct locations and inspects shipment for perishability
- Provides supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to shipping personnel.
- Integrates plant operations with other departments
- Trains employees at all levels in the department
- Must follow food and transportation regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of Supervisory training experience
- Must manage multiple projects
- 2 years of direct experience
