RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Shop Supervisor will train staff on processes, maintain documentation, and training schedules.
- Supervise and schedule production personnel in the shop on 2nd shift to ensure quality products for our customers.
- Communicate shop requirements to supervisors and other employees.
- Provide training for employees in safety and job skills as needed on 2nd shift.
- Make suggestions for enhancing efficiency, procedures, layouts, equipment, and/or tooling for management.
- Implement and sustain 6S/Lean advantages including safety & plant housekeeping
- Monitor work orders and MRP scheduling to ensure meeting monthly customer requirements.
- Assist with set up sheets and CNC program.
- Assist in submitting work orders for machine and facility repairs in response to maintenance requests.
- Responsible for employee training records for manufacturing employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school Diploma/GED equivalent
- 8+ Years of experience in machining and manufacturing
- Advanced Mathematical skills
- Specialized training of at least 2 years
- Excellent communication skills
