RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Sr. Research and Development Engineer, you oversee engineering research and development projects for advanced electrical systems
- Assists in conferences, presentations, power system studies and interfacing with customers
- Develops protection and control algorithms for proposals, writes code for embedded applications, and creates quotes for products in power systems
- Test and develop design concepts, design reviews
- Supervises and coordinates with other engineers
- Travels when needed to support new product solutions, products, technology to create business opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related
- 10+ years of experience with electrical power systems, control design and analysis
- Understands simulation tools within the industry
- Proficient in defining problems, collecting data, and creating solutions
- Ability to work from home 2 days a week and travel in support of training, projects, or designs
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
