RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to perform structural steel detail & civil foundation drawings checking to ensure the drawings conform to the project specifications.
- Must provide technical assistance to the various detailers.
- Must provide sketches, plans, designs, and layouts as well as needed.
- Must communicate with engineers, clients, and fellow designers.
- Must assist the team with any drawing support required to complete the drawing approval, fabrication, or erection process to ensure excellence.
- Must compare project schedules and budgets to expectations and report on any potential delays or issues arising during construction
- Must work closely with contractors, technicians, and other engineers.
- Must work closely with the drafting team to ensure all relevant design details are included in project submittal drawings and fabrication sheets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an Associate’s degree in Drafting/ CAD/Architectural/ Structural/Civil Design
- Must have experience with checking Civil3D foundation drawings & structural steel drawings.
- 3+ years of relevant detailing experience.
- Must have experience using and working familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc).
