RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and manage the entire production process, ensuring smooth operations, efficiency, and quality assurance.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance production workflows, minimize waste, and boost overall productivity.
- Work closely with teams across departments to improve operational effectiveness and optimize the supply chain.
- Review and analyze production data to spot opportunities for improvement and make process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and foster a safety-first mindset within the production team.
- Oversee and train production staff, offering guidance and mentorship to maintain peak performance.
- Communicate with suppliers to guarantee the timely arrival of materials and components needed for production.
- Partner with engineering teams to create and implement new manufacturing processes or machinery.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure they are well-maintained and functioning correctly.
- Keep track of inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in plant or operations management.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and process improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of mechanical processes and assembly line operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Superior communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Competency in utilizing production management software and tools.
