Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer demand trends, sales forecasts, and component criticality to develop and implement stocking programs to reduce customer response time.
- Responsible for communicating with internal staff in-regard to inventory questions, weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory audits.
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
- Review work schedule and obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations
- Responsible for collaborating with customer service and sales departments to resolve issues with production processes.
- Identify issues with warehouse management systems and warehouse operators.
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing procedures to optimize inventory control.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent is preferred.
- 3+ years of previous experience with inventory control/planning, purchasing, and receiving in a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to various ERP and/or inventory systems.
- Strong background with inventory management practice and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
- Able to analyze information and utilize time management.
