RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Supply Chain Planner must track the present inventories.
- Must analyze available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other resources.
- Recommend changes regarding proper utilization of inventories.
- Recommend factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions.
- Manage the storage of inventory, raw materials and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- The Supply Chain Planner must meet demands without overstocking.
- Collaborate with operations, production and other supply chain departments as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Supply Chain Planner must have an Associate/Bachelor’s degree.
- Must come from a CPG beverage background.
- Must have 5+ years of strong understanding of the supply chain process.
- Must have solid understanding of integrated software systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, customers and other supply chain team members.
- Ability to count inventory and sometimes move heavy objects while monitoring and managing the current inventory.
- Must be willing to work onsite.
