Responsibilities:
- The Test Lab Engineer Manager oversees test engineering and leadership while supporting goals and objectives with proper research, product development, technology, and general testing
- Support the Global Materials Testing Center (MTC)
- Implement technology solutions for MTC products
- Develop and leads the team for new product development, benchmarking, customer and manufacturing evaluations, data support, and supply chain testing
- Oversees the entire product evolution and design of new test machines, controls, and analysis systems
Requirements:
- The Test Lab Engineer Manager must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related
- 5+ years of experience working with Test Engineering, including design, research, implementation, manufacturing, testing and problem resolution
- 3+ years of experience leading teams and overseeing training in a management setting
- Must have project management experience
- Understands mechanical poser transmission devices, including gears, bearings, chain, sprockets, clutches, belts, gearboxes, sheaves and couplings
- Understands electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine alignments, troubleshooting test rig issues, and manufacturing processes
- Preferred knowledge in experiment design, LabView or other testing methods, and electrical
