Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Driving the company’s financial planning.
- Prepare for and coordinate financial audits.
- Direct financing strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management.
- Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Create and monitor departmental budgets.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely completion of monthly P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Act as the primary liaison to legal counsel for issues including copyright, antitrust, governing instruments, partnerships, licensing, leasing, real estate investment, cash management, etc.
- Oversee organizational insurance policies and risk management.
- Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.).
- Set the company's strategy and direction.
- Create and build the company's culture.
- CPA or Master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience in wholesale fashion and/or footwear, with a track record of successfully growing a business.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
- Ensure timely completion of monthly P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
