RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic business partner and lead the accounting team.
- The VP of Finance will oversee the finances of the organization and all its affiliates.
- Develop a high level of collaboration with community stakeholders and all levels of staff.
- Support staff development and team performance in the areas of accounting payment processing systems, grants administration and banking operations while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial and operational strategies and implementing appropriate control systems.
- Asset and Liability Management, capital planning, budgeting, investments, forecasting, and liquidity.
- Automate, streamline and improve existing processes.
Salary Range: $95,000-$108,000 (DOE)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The VP of Finance must have a degree in Finance/ Accounting. Masters preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of financial management experience in non-profit financial sector is required.
- CPA preferred.
- Must have leadership and team development skills.
- Knowledge of contract and government grant accounting experience is a must.
- This is an onsite in-office position.
