RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Vice President of Sales must take part in business strategy, corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Must manage performance measures for all sales jobs; overseeing the equitable allocation of organization objectives across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; and ensuring all key sales and sales management associates are held accountable for assigned results.
  • Must be responsible for sales organization design, job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
  • Must build and lead a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and mentoring sales representatives.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
  • The Vice President of Sales must establish effective delivery of training and development programs, actively assesses the value of training and development investments, and monitors learning and development outcomes to ensure high ROI.
  • Proactively assess sales goals, support investments yield productivity benefits consistent with established objectives.
  • Must work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure technology initiatives are implemented.
  • Must utilize on-line CRM to maintain up-to-date customer profiles, sales opportunities and forecasts.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate sales and marketing strategy, based on knowledge of the products and service lines and market demand and works closely with the Senior Vice President.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The Vice President of Sales must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have 7+ years as VP of Sales, with proven provider software and data analytics and sales management experience.
  • Must have experience selling software solutions within Health IT vertical.
  • Must have experience delivering prospects to Director-level to the SVP/C-level Suite by managing pipeline and budget forecast.
  • Must have excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills.
  • The Vice President of Sales must be able to align marketing to existing products and create effective outreach message.
