Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
- The Warehouse Manager will work closely with construction project teams to ensure materials are readily available to support project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to order materials and supplies as needed.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify the quality and quantity of items received.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and control warehouse operating expenses to ensure budget compliance.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or technical certification is preferred.
- Must have 5-7 years of leadership experience in a warehousing environment.
- Knowledge of NC DOT requirements and procedures.
- Strong background with safety policies and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and WMS applications.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
