Responsibilities:
- Drives achievement and reports on KPIs
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
- Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for executing and overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the warehouse and overseeing warehouse staff, contractors, and temporary workers
- Reviewing distribution orders, shipping schedules, and shipping/receiving notices to determine work sequences and shipping dates, types, volumes, and destinations.
- Collaborate with supply planners for product opportunities to when it comes to stock inventory functions
- Meet inventory performance objectives including improving inventory turns, minimize working capital on inventory, reducing customer backorders and improving on-time delivery ratio.
- Track all shipments and coordinate distribution planners’ collaboration with distribution centers to resolve any shipment discrepancies that may occur.
Requirements:
- 3 years of Warehouse Supervisory experience within a metals manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma required
- The ability to work 1st shift hours
- Distinguishing material types that include Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass components
- Hands-on dealing with ERP software systems
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in dealing with timelines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
