Responsibilities:
- The ideal Welder will visually inspect completed welds and determine compliance with standards and check the quality of the appearance in the finished product.
- Learn material through verbal instruction and observation.
- Work safely in a team focused environment to provide quality products.
- Perform welding skills that follow standard procedures.
- Complete essential tasks as assigned.
- Read and understand dimensions, materials and weld symbols on drawings and work orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 75 lbs
- 1+ year of Welding experience (preferred).
- Welder’s must have knowledge or skills using mig, tig, stick, band saw, torch, plasma, shear, carbon steel, and aluminum.
- Experience operating Jib cranes, overhead cranes, and iron worker processes.
- Experience working in the steel fabrication industry.
- Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat and kneel.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
- Ability to work independently and in a team focused environment to ensure projects are completed on time and up to standard.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
